8. The Internet and Website Development

Students undertake a study of the historical development of the internet. Tools and uses of the internet are explored particularly in the area of the World Wide Web. Students manipulate tools to design, produce and evaluate a website for a given purpose

Students have previously completed an introduction to HTML in Networking and should have completed a simple website as part of the assessment task.

Students experience different types of technology for Internet and website Development and learn how to design and create a more advanced website in their area of interest. Students should experience different types of website development software

Outcomes

A student:
